Mr Paul Okoh, the manager of `Magicland’ Amusement Park located near the city gate of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has expressed the readiness of staff running the park to give maximum entertainment to fun seekers in the territory.
Okoh revealed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja.
“Our equipment which are service regularly are in good condition to make the Easter celebration worthwhile for fun seekers in the park.
“As usual, arrangements have been concluded to provide effective security for them; we have personnel from the Department of Security Service, Nigeria Police, Civil Defense and private security organisations.
“The environment is friendly with different forms of entertainments for fun seekers in the FCT,’’ he said.
Meanwhile, Malam Mohammed Lawal who sells barbecue popularly known as `Suya’ in the park told NAN that his expectations were high for the Easter celebration.
According to him, there is a slight increment in the price of his product.
“We increased the price because we also increased the quantity and quality of our `Suya’.
“We are also ready to give the best to fun seekers in the FCT as usual; this is the best amusement park in this city.
“May the Almighty Allah grant us good health and peace to experience the Easter celebration with love and enjoyment,’’ Lawal said.
NAN reports that Easter celebration is the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Federal Government had declared Friday, March 30 and Monday, April 2 as public holiday to allow Nigerians celebrate the occasion. (NAN)
