Bayern Munich forward, Robert Lewandowski has told the club that he wants to move to Real Madrid.
The 29-year-old Polish striker has reportedly told Bayern’s General Manager, Karl Heinz Rummenigge, that he will do everything to ensure the deal sails through.
However, Bayern are said to be reminding the striker that he has a contract that ties him to the club till June 2021.
Despite this, the Bavarian club are reportedly lining up a move for Timo Werner as replacement should they be unable to keep Lewandowski.
Yet some reports are claiming that the club is seeking to secure the signature of Tottenham manager, Mauricio Pochettino as well as star forward, Harry Kane.
Real Madrid has continued to maintain a respectable distance through it all, in what observers say is a bid to avoid UEFA hammer for approaching another club’s player that is under contract.
