Passengers on board an aircraft belonging to Dana Air were in a rude shock when the door of the aircraft fell off as soon as the plane landed putting passengers in severe panic mode.
The cause of the mishap was unknown as details remain sketchy as to what could have been responsible for the incident. It was noted that there were no casualties in the aftermath.
Passengers recounted their experience as scary. A passenger Dapo Sanwo criticized the Airline as being negligent claiming the door was faulty all through the flight. His opinion was seconded by another passenger Ola Brown who narrated on his twitter page that the door (exit door) was not in good condition all through the duration of the trip.
“I was closer to the front so when I heard the sound, (I) thought it was an explosion. (I) couldn’t quite comprehend that it (the door) had just fallen off.” said Ola.
The Corporate Communications Department of the Airline has stated that it would need feedback from its engineers before speaking on the issue.
