Gabonese striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has signed a deal worth £56 million ($79.2 million, 63.7 million euros) at Arsenal, becoming the club’s most expensive player.
Arsenal confirmed the deal on Wednesday.
He joined the Gunners from German team, Borussia Dortmund, where he was at loggerheads with management weeks leading to the move.
Before Aubameyang’s transfer, the £46.5 million that Arsenal paid for French striker Alexandre Lacazette last August was the club’s record signing.
Aubameyang, 28, scored 98 goals in 144 Bundesliga games for Dortmund and had a hand in 172 goals in 213 matches in all competitions for his former club.
