On Saturday night, Rap magnate Jay-z on CNN on the ‘Van Jones show’ talked about his marriage with Beyoncé, in particular the turmoil, stating:
that ‘he was straight with Beyonce and dealt with his infidelity head on to save his marriage, because she was his soul mate and it was definitely worth fighting for.’
He talked about issues like infidelity and how they have to be addressed head-on, and if they’re not the marriage is going to blow up.
He says, “For us, we chose to fight for our love, for our family, to give our kids different outcome, to break that cycle for black men and women.”
The rapper previously apologised to Beyonce for cheating on his latest album 4.44
On the title track of the album Shawn Carter raps:
‘I apologise, often womanise, took for my child to be born, see through a woman’s eyes. ‘Took for these natural twins to believe in miracles, took me too long for this song, I don’t deserve you.’
The high-profile couple have daughter Blue Ivy, six, and twins Rumi and Sir, born in June 2017.
