Samsung is planning to unveil its Galaxy S9 handset at the Mobile World Congress next month. The successor to the Galaxy S8 in a leaked video showing the phone, details specifications such as the size of the battery and the makeup of its outside material.
The Galaxy S9 will have a 5.8-inch display and be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 in the US, according to VentureBeat, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The S9+ is display 6.2 Inches and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage.
The Samsung s8’s big brother’s camera will have a 12 megapixel camera and a variable aperture of between f/2.4 and f/1.5. It’s selfie camera will be 8 megapixels.
The fingerprint sensor will be vertically aligned with the camera, instead of sitting beside it (like on the S8).
Samsung s9 is set to launch February 25th, and will retail at N260,000 ($725/£639)
