If all goes according to plan, Nigerian-born Anthony Joshua may be Prince Harry’s best man at the Prince’s marriage to Meghan Markle on May 19.
This indication came from Anthony Joshua himself via a Twitter picture he shared on Wednesday after an appearance on a BBC Radio 4 programme guest edited by Prince Harry. Former US President Barack Obama was also on the programme.
Along with a picture of him with the Prince, the World Boxing Heavyweight champion tweeted this caption: Back to work this morning! Congrats on everything this year & no pressure on the R4 guest edit! P.s. Need a best man?
Why the Royal family has not announced who would be the best man to Prince Harry at the marriage ceremony in Windsor Castle, Joshua is a likely choice given he is a 28-year-old boxing and 2012 Olympic Gold medallist who is popular all over the world.
