Full List: FG Approves N.378 Trillion Projects

The Federal Executive Council has approved developmental projects worth N378 billion in the first day of its two-day extraordinary meeting on Wednesday.

This followed the treatment of 22 out of the 42 memoranda submitted to the council, which presidential spokesman Mallam Garba Shehu said would reconvene today, Thursday.

It was gathered that the council approved N155.7bn for the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Road, N14.4bn for the Efire-Araromi-Aiyede-Aiyela Road connecting Ondo and Ogun States, as well as N62.06bn for the Enugu-Onitsha Road (Amansia and Umunya sections).

The council equally approved N38.965 bn for the first phase of provision of independent power plant for nine universities and one teaching hospital.

Furthermore, N436 million variation cost was approved for the completion of Police Service Commission headquarters in Abuja and N457 million variation cost for the Nnamdi Azikiwe Mausoleum in Anambra State.

In the same vein, the council approved N3.8bn for the augmentation of the Goodluck Jonathan Way in Abuja linking Keffi-Nyanya into the city and another N26bn for the infrastructure development of Wasa resettlement.
