Charles Ndubuisi Umemma, a 34 year old Nigerian National, has been arrested by Thailand Authorities after a drug raid.
Umemma who was apprehended in Bangkok’s Kapi district on Saturday, September 16, faces a charge of obtaining and possessing “ice” with intent to sell and send to Australia.
The Deputy National Police Commissioner, Police General Chalermkiat Srivorakan told a press conference on Monday in Bangkok that Officers had so far this fiscal year confiscated 100 million ya ba pills and more than 4000 kilograms of “ice” worth By 7.6 billion.
The police also disclosed that the Nigerian National has tried to send 120 grams of “ice” to Sydney.
