“Pride comes before a fall” – Davido, Mr Eazi are warned

2 Min Read

Nigerian musician, Abdulkareem Edris, who performed with the remedies until their split, has taken a jab at Mr Eazi and Davido, over his controversial comments concerning originating Ghanaian sound in Nigeria.

The Remedies crooner in an openchat with Goldmyne TV, talked about pride in young artists, using Davido as a reference point.

Recall that Mr Eazi, had come under heavy criticism after he posted a video online shading Nigerian musicians for copying his Ghanaian sound.

While Davido had hit out at Dele Momodu, publisher of Ovation Magazine, after his relationship with Dele’s cousin, Sophia Momodu his baby mama soared.

Now weighing in on-the dramas, Edris has slammed both singers saying

“You must be a stupid man, you are a fool.. Number 1 you sound like Ghanaians, that’s why you are accepted that means you are not original but because its an Africans music it means you will be accepted..

Who are you to say a thing like that, that’s pride.. Same thing happened to Davido, dissing Dele Momodu, Dele Momodu made you all what you, they fought for the industry at the same time went into the politics..

If you are think you are very smart and think you have something, work on the street with that power that you have without bodyguards”
