The United States of America today witnessed the first Solar Eclipse in 99 years.
The total solar eclipse was reported to have began in Oregon just after 9:00am in the morning and spread to other parts.
The total solar eclipse witnessed in America involved the moon completely blocking off the sun’s plunging area of light therefore causing a twilight.
The solar eclipse was reported to have been witnessed in a total of 14 states while the rest states will only be treated to a partial solar eclipse in which the moon covers only a part of the sun.
Locals and residents in Oregon were reported to have rushed out of their respective homes to catch a glimpse of what might be a once-in-a lifetime happening.
Several persons were reported to have been armed with their eclipse glasses or the homemade contraptions in hand to watch the moon fully cover the sun.
