A Nigerian man identified as Sylvanus Amachukwu Godwin with passport Number A06011089 has reportedly lost his life aboard an Ethiopian Airlines Flight 606 en-route Addis Ababa to Guangzhou, China.
Accoridng to report, the Nigerian man died after high grams of drug burst in his stomach.
The suspected drug trafficker was reported to have collapsed while in the flight and died shortly after first-aid mesasures were administered.
The airline authority however revealed that it is yet to conclude investigations into the cause of death of the Nigerian man.
The Nigerian Consul General to China, Ambassador Wale Oloko while speaking on the death revealed that Godwin’s death was announced to the consulate when the aircraft landed at the Baiyun International Airport in Guangzhou, China.
Further information regarding the death of the Nigerian man indicated that the corpse has since been taken to the Aviation Hospital’s mortuary within the Baiyun International Airport complex for post mortem in a bid to determine the cause of death of the Nigerian national.
