Ahead of the 2019 General elections in the country, major opposition to the ruling party All Progressive Congress, APC, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has reportedly made moves on its candidates for the presidency and vice presidency slots.
The revelation of the political platform’s alleged candidates comes after the Nigerian Senate ruled out the possibility of a former president of the country, Goodluck Jonathan to contest in the 2019 polls.
According to Sahara Reporters, the Peoples Democratic Party has silently chosen the duo of former vice president Atiku Abubakar and the Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose as the presidential and vice presidential candidates for the platform.
The revelation comes after the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose stated that he is working his way politically to earn the presidency spot in the country.

The Ekiti state governor has however through his media aide, Lere Olayinka, denied the report stating that it is a mere fabrication from the news platform.
