Femi Fani Kayode a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress has urged the party stalwarts to remain united in their fight against the Peoples Democratic Party.
Addressing journalists in Yola, during a visit to the Adamawa State Governor, Fani-Kayode said those labelling APC as a regional party should refrain from such so as not to introduce religion and tribalism to the party.
He said, “We are fighting the PDP. We must come together, close ranks and fight it.”
“The Southwest is controlled by APC. We also have APC governors and members in Southsouth and Southeast as well as Northeast and Northwest.
“APC is a national party with Muslims, Christians and traditionalists; everybody is welcome in APC.”
Fani Kayode was accompanied by El-Rufai to Adamawa and met with Governor Murtala Nyako who recently joined the APC.
