The crisis plaguing the ruling Peoples Democratic Party seems to be far from its end as reports indicate that at least thirty seven serving House of Representatives members have decamped from the PDP and crossed over to the All Progressives Congress.
The move follows the cross carpeting of 5 PDP Governors, who moved to APC late November. The Governors of Kwara, Rivers, Sokoto, Kano, and Adamawa made the switch.
It was expected that the lawmakers from the affected States would also follow suit of their Executive Governors.
The APC had called for the impeachment of President Goodluck Jonathan over the weekend, the threat becomes more real even as the APC wins more allies in the legislative arm of government.
