Following the arrest of billionaire kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme George Onwuamadike by men of the Nigerian police some weeks ago, the arrested kidnap kingpin has along with his father filed a lawsuit against the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, the Nigeria Police Force, the Lagos state Commissioner of Police Fatai Owoseni and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos state Police Command.
The notorious kidnapper through his legal counsel, Olukoya Ogungbeje, filed the lawsuit yesterday, June 28, 2008.
The kidnap kingpin in the lawsuit filed is challenging the respondents for his continuous detention by the police.
In the lawsuit, Evans is asking that he be released by the Police or charged to court.
