Cristiano Ronaldo may have been accused of evading tax payment with mounting rumours of an exit from Real Madrid Michael Ballack still believes that the Portuguese is fine at the Spanish capital.
Prosecutors in Spain have accused the former Manchester United man of “voluntary” and “conscious” breach of his tax obligations, amounting to a figure of €14.7million.
However, Ballack who played for Chelsea says Ronaldo may be passing through an emotional time but that he is sure the Portuguese man is happy at Real.
“I think it’s an emotional situation right now… all I can say is he’s playing at a fantastic club,” the former German captain told Omnisport.
“And I’m sure he’s happy at that club. It’s a bit of a difficult situation right now. But he’s experienced enough to handle it as well and find a good solution for himself.
“Real Madrid is a fantastic club and I don’t see him at another club right now.”
Manchester United and French team, Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly shown interest in the Ballon D’or winner.
Ronaldo helped Real Madrid to clinch a back-to-back UEFA Champions League laurel under French coach, Zinedine Zidane.
