Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha has refuted accusations that his absence from the team is because he dated the daughter of manager David Moyes.
Zaha is yet to make a single league appearance for United since his £15m move from Crystal Palace in the summer – a deal arranged in January 2013 by Moyes’ predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson.
Despite earning a cap for England last season, Zaha’s only start for the Red Devils to date came in the Community Shield victory over Wigan in August.
Online rumours have suggested Zaha, 20, had been dating Lauren Moyes, but Zaha denied the claims on twitter and insisted he will feature for the club when the manager feels he is ready.
I’ve never dated or even met David moye’s Daughter so that isn’t the reason for my absence in games …

Zaha has since deleted the tweets.
