The Israeli government has announced the postponement of its national election which clashed with American singer, Britney Spear’s concert.
According to report, the Israeli government was forced to make the move to shift the elections earlier slated for July 3, 2017 because of the Britney Spears Tel Aviv concert which marks her first non-US tour since 2011.
The Israeli government’s opposition, Labour party, has since shifted the set date for the election to 4th of July so it doesn’t clash with the American singer’s concert.
Speaking on the move, the Chairperson of the Labor Party, Isaac Herzog, in a statement issued to its effect explained that the decision to shift the election date by one day is because “there is a major event at Yarkon Park on July 3, 2017.”
