Ace Nigerian comedian, Ali Baba whose wife was reportedly put on an indefinite suspension at her workplace in one of the financial institutions in the country took to his social media page to share a photo of his dog named ‘Obama’.
The comedian who revealed the passing away of the domestic animal noted that he purchased the dog the same day the former United States President, Barack Obama assumed office.
He added that the dog however died upon his exit from office to be replaced by the 45th US president, Donald Trump after 8 years.
Ali Baba on his Instagram page shared the photo below with the caption: “Got this dog the same day of the USA inauguration that brought into office the first black man into the white house… so it was no coincidence that I named him Obama. Because it was black and white. Can you imagine if I named him Buhari? Anyway… Obama lived for 8 years… and died when Trump won. I wonder why that happened.”
