A former United States president, George W. Bush has opened up on hi relationship with the former president Barack Obama’s wife, Michelle.
George Bush was in January pictured with the former United State’s first lady and was subsequently pictured looking smitten by the recent ex-FLOTUS during the inauguration ceremony of the new US president, Donald J. Trump.
Bush in his new book, “Portraits of Courage,” and in an interview granted to People magazine explained his connection with Michelle Obama.
He said: “when I saw her, it was a genuine expression of affection. She kind of likes my sense of humor. Anybody who likes my sense of humor, I immediately like”.
George Bush who has often been spotted seated next to Michelle at national events including the interfaith memorial service for the victims of the Dallas police shooting held in July, 2016 and the former first lady Nancy Reagan’s funeral added: “I can’t remember where else I’ve sat next to her, but I probably have a few wisecracks and she seemed to like it OK. I needle her a little bit and around her, I’m fairly lighthearted.”
