Nigerians Fight Back As Xenophobic Attack In South Africa Gets Messy

Fresh reports form South Africa indicates that Nigerians have taken up arms to fought against the renewed Xenophobic attacks on them by South Africans which has left several injured and many properties damaged.

Following the renewed Xenophobic attack on Nigerian citizens, houses and businesses by South Africans, Nigerians reportedly took a stand against the wave of terror on Friday, February 24 after the alleged killing of a Nigerian man in the attack.

The Xenophobic attacks had started when South Africans accused Nigerians of drug trafficking, prostitution and ownership of thriving businesses in the country.

Reporting the recent development, a pastor based in South Africa and former Nigerian Footballer, pastor Idah Peterside disclosed that there was a confrontation in Pretoria, South Africa after Nigerians refused to shy away from the protesters who were marching against them.

Pastor Idah took to his social media page on Twitter to write:”It’s a stand off in Pretoria,the Nigerians have refused to hide.the South Africans matching are been confronted with.Nigerians carrying guns.”

The Nigerian government in its last statement however maintained that no Nigerian life has been lost in the attack.
