Alhaji Sule Lamido

…… no prayer can save his government

Former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido has said that President Muhammadu Buhari’s government will collapse.

Lamido also said that people who are leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) are looking for protection from the Federal Government.

Lamido made the comments on Tuesday, December 7, while speaking to journalists at his home in Bamaina.

“Where justice is lost, where you have a government which is not just and fair, people must look for protection. Those defecting from the PDP to the APC are looking for protection,” he said according to Daily Trust.

“The present government in the country will collapse. No matter how well people wished them and how hard you prayed for the government, it will collapse because it has no capacity to carry the Nigerian load, contradiction, crisis and division,” he added.

Lamido had earlier said that Buhari is too incompetent to lead Nigeria.

It will be recalled that the former has asked Nigerians not to expect much from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He also said mocked President Buhari’s war aginst corruption saying “How can President Buhari say he is fighting corruption when he is surrounded by people of questionable characters, a group of people who were part of the government he is criticizing.”

Adding that “Democracy should be able to address our problems, unite us and not to put fear in the land, compelling people to be pretending to be what they are not because they don’t want to be imprisoned.”

Lamido also said Nigeria’s problem is not only corruption.

He said majority of the current crop of APC members were in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), when it was in power.
