Kanye West left some of his fans less than impressed at a concert on Thursday night in California, when he voiced his support for US President-elect Donald Trump.
He said, “I said something that was kind of politically correct. I told y’all I didn’t vote right? What I didn’t tell you…if I were to have voted I would have voted Trump.”
In his rant at the Saint Pablo Tour gig in San Jose, Kanye said, “This is about the idea of a black guy liking Trump. They thought they had me because…just because I was black or because I was a celebrity…But Trump is our president and that would have been my vote, so I feel right.”
He continued, “That don’t mean that I don’t think that Black Lives Matter, that I don’t mean that I don’t think I believe in women’s rights …”
Kanye urged black people to “stop focusing on racism.”
“This world is racist ok? Lets stop being distracted, we are in a racist country period,” he said.
West, who said last year that he had plans to run for President in 2020, confirmed his intentions to run for Presidency in 2020.
