The President, Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of two new Justices to the Supreme Court bench.
The newly appointed Justices are Justices Ejembi Eko and Amina Augie.
The appointment, which followed the Nigerian Judicial Council’s, earlier recommendation of the two candidates, was made known by the Acting Director of Information, Mr. Soji Oye, in a statement released on Friday.
Oye, in the statement, further disclosed that the newly appointed Supreme Court Justices, who were formerly Justices of the Appeal Court, will be sworn in on Monday by the outgoing Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, who is to retire on November 10.
