Pardon the interruption but something other than Kendrick Lamar is happening in hip-hop. Today, we get to finally hear some new music from Eminem. It’s a song called “Survival” and it’s featured as background music for the new Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer. Check out the clip above.
Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg announced earlier this year that the Detroit rapper would be releasing an album in 2013, and after receiving “Survival,” it’s clear their on schedule to execute that plan. There’s no word yet on whether “Survival” will be included on his upcoming album. However, this is a similar move he made back in 2010 with Recovery, where the Pink-assisted “Won’t Back Down” was used for the Call of Duty: Black Ops trailer. Either way, get hyped.
