Nigerians on social media have reacted to the president Muhammadu Buhari’s comment which clearly stated that his wife, the first lady, Aisha Buhari’s place is in the kitchen, living room and the other room.
Although the presidency has defended the comment which was described as a honest banter by the president, most Nigerians on social media are not having a go at the explanation.
Recall that the president’s comment which he made in an interview while in Germany came after Aisha Buhari’s media outburst on a BBC interview.
Aisha Buhari had expressed disappointment at the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration as she claimed a few people have seized power from her husband. She further threatened to withdraw her support for the president should he fail to shake things up and leave a legacy.
