As opposed to governor Fayose’s speculations, Aisha Buhari, wife of Nigeria’s president, met the first lady of the United States of America, Michelle Obama, without negative consequences on Monday, 19 September.
Aisha who was challenged by the Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose, to visit the United States and face the possibility of arrest over alleged involvement in the 1994 Halliburton scandal, also met with other first ladies, including the first lady of Cameroon, Chantal Biya.
The Broadway show organized by Michelle Obama in New York, which was aimed at empowering girls globally, had in attendance, first ladies from all over the world.
