New York rapper Bobby Shmurda might be doing his “Shmoney” dance soon as he has accepted a plea deal.
Bobby Shmurda and two co-defendants, Chad “rowdy rebel” Marshall and Nicholas McCoy, accepted a plea deal from the prosecution in a court hearing today.
They agreed to serve seven years in prison rather than risk trial, which had been scheduled to begin Monday.
Shmurda, has been jailed since December 2014 in a case where more than 15 defendants were charged with various crimes, including murder, attempted murder and drug dealing.
According to the deal, Shmurda pled to conspiracy to possess weapons and possession of a weapon. The other charges were dismissed, and he’ll get 7 years in prison and 5 years probation.
