Senator Dino Melaye who represents Kogi West Senatorial district has responded to the letter written by Senator Remi Tinubu to the Acting Inspector General of Police, IGP, Ibrahim Idris.
Senator Tinubu had written the letter over Senator Melaye’s recent threats against her.
In the letter, Senator Tinubu stated that her life was in danger and requested for adequate security.
She added that it was unfair that the leadership of the Senate failed to rebuke Senate Melaye during the executive session when the ‘fight’ ensued.
Senator Melaye, while speaking tho Vanguard about the letter, said: “great minds don’t dwell on issues, they act and move on. I have moved on.”
It will be recalled that during the proceedings of the Senate on Tuesday, July, 14, 2016, Senator Dino Melaye had allegedly issued threats to Senator Tinubu.
