The veteran actress died yesterday at the age of 82 after living a full life. She was buried yesterday according to Muslim rites and customs.
She may have practised both religions, but she died a Muslim and she chose to be buried that way instructing family members to make sure she was buried on the same day.
There has been an outpouring of grief over her death with Richard Mofe Damijo giving a tribute and stating that he regrets not seeing her in her last days.
She was buried Atan Cemetery Yaba, Lagos.
