The new Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris visited Ugborodo and Gbaramatu Community in Warri south-west, Delta state in the company of Warri billionaire, Ayiri Emami.
The visit was to check on the state of affairs and ensure that there was peace and tranquillity in all the communities.
The IGP had recommended for the compulsory retirement of some AIGs and it was reported that 21 AIGs have now been compulsorily retired. This, according to reports is because the AIGs were senior in rank to him before attaining his new position and could prove to be a hindrance to the dispensation of justice.
