The Niger Delta Avengers militants group responsible for continuous attacks on petroleum facilities in the Niger Delta region has sounded a note of warning to the recently blown up Agip facility management.
Recall that the group in a statement issued recently threatened both local and international oil companies in the area to cripple their activities and bring Nigeria’s oil production to zero.
In line with the promise, the Niger Delta Avengers stepped up their attacks as three more facilities were blown up in two days.
In the warning contained in a statement released by the Spokesperson of the militant group, Brig. Gen. Mudoch Agbinibo, the group wrote:
We (Niger Delta Avengers) are sending this Warning message to #AGIP not to commence repair works on any of the blown pipelines in Bayelsa. We will make you regret it, if you even dare us.
