Nigerians React To FG’s Decision To Scrap Post-UTME Exams

Mixed reactions have trailed the news the the Federal Government has decided to scrap Post-UTME exams.

The Minister of Education announced this yesterday at the 2016 Combined Policy Meeting on Admissions to Universities, Polytechnics and other higher institutions in Nigeria.

According to the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, the general feeling of the federal government is that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams are enough of a totem pole for students and that there is no need for another examination to determine students’ eligibility to enter into school.
