Reports just coming in indicate that the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has cancelled his scheduled one day trip to Ogoniland in Rivers State.
According to saharareporters, the President will be represented by VP Osinbajo.
No reason was given for the cancellation but speculation is rife that it concerns the death threat that the President received from the militant group Niger Delta Avengers.
President Buhari was scheduled for a one-day trip to Ogoniland to kick off the Niger Delta clean up initiative.
