The bail application made by the leader of the Indigenous people od Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has again been denied.
The Leader of the IPOB had made an application for bail which had been denied by the Federal high court, Kanu then appealed to the appeal court in hopes of getting the decision reversed.
But the appeal court in its ruling made by Justice Abdul Aboki this morning held that the lower court was right in denying Kanu bail considering the nature and the circumstances of his case.
The Judge said, “The lower court has the power to exercise its discretion on the matter and the exercise of such discretion by the trial judge did not amount to denial of fair hearing to the defendants. The issues are resolved against the appellants. Ruling of the trial court is hereby upheld.”
