Popular British Chef, Jamie Oliver, is to host a live Facebook campaign tagged: ‘The Food Revolution’ alongside Nigerian music star, Waje and Nigeria’s celebrity Chef, Eros.
The campaign is expected to hold on May 20, and is expected to be viewed LIVE on Facebook around the world.
The purpose of the of Food Revolution Day campaign is to encourage more people to join the Food Revolution.
It is also aimed at putting pressure on governments to develop and implement plans that will tackle the malnutrition crisis amongst children mostly in less developed nations .
The LIVE streaming Facebook event is expected to hold throughout the day and will have celebrity guests such as Kris Jenner, Martha Stewart, Cody Simpson and more.
The show will begin in London before moving to Australia, India, Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, Germany, UK, Brazil, US, Netherlands and Canada, ultimately creating a 7-hour cooking marathon broadcast including an International Omelette Challenge.
Waje is expected to host the Nigerian version of the Food Revolution Day alongside Nigeria’s Chef Eros who will be cooking up some nutritious delicacies at Dowen College, Lagos
