The news of the rescued Chibok girl should generally have been met with a lot of joy and happiness and while it was, naturally it was turned around by some people.
The trouble started when an article published by the Punch made the rounds on social media. The article was practically the APC mocking the Jonathan government over their inability to rescue any of the girls.
Nigerians weren’t happy with this and they went full blast on the APC and Buhari. There were even suggestions that the entire episode was propaganda by the APC to make it look like they are working.
