A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), in Kano State, Hajiya Najaatu Mohammed, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for tackling the insecurity bedevilling the country.
She told newsmen in Kano on Tuesday the commendation became necessary because the effort of the President in tackling insecurity had paid off by curtailment of insurgency.
“The President has been able to tackle insurgency by empowering the military personnel on the front line to face the insurgents with boldness, courage and bravery”, she said.
According to her, Nigerians are no longer living in perpetual fear. They know that they have a President who is always ready to make supreme sacrifice in defending the country.
She noted that as a leader, Buhari had proved his mettle as honest and selfless leader whose ascendency to power was bedevilled by one crisis after another.
She said Buhari also inherited a looted treasury.
She said as an ardent supporter of APC and one close to the President, she had never hid her feeling and opinion on crucial issues of national interest.
“Those who wreaked havoc in the PDP days should be shown the way out. None of them should be allowed to have a field day in the present government”, she said. (NAN)
