The former Aviation minister reported to the offices of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission to explain his role in the campaign funds embezzlement that went on during the last election.
FFK had earlier said that he was unafraid of any question the EFCC might ask as he was innocent and had nothing to hide.
But now according to Sahara Reporters the EFCC had a shocker for him– there were 3 cases against him not one.
“He will be in our custody for a few more days because we have multiple fraud charges against him,” said a source according to Sahara Reporters.
“He now knows that he is in big trouble and that investigators have gathered a lot of evidence against him.”
The interrogation is set to continue tomorrow and till then FFK is to remain in EFCC custody.
It has been reported that while the Fani-Kayode has been granted administrative bail, he has been unable to fulfill the conditions for the bail to be activated which is to produce two sureties who must be serving directors in the federal civil service.
