The two are beautiful, talented singers, but it seems they don’t get along so well and we never really knew why– until now.
In an interview with ‘Excite on TV’ uploaded in 2013, the singer talked about her early career while still in the United States. She also explained how the rumored beef with Tiwa Savage started.
According to her, their producer had given them the same track, this means they had the same beat, the same arrangement and so on. They each wrote a song for the track and according to Seyi Shay, when she was about to release hers, Tiwa raised an objection and that was how the problem started.
She did say that they realised that it was the producer’s fault and that they are sisters now, but if recent behavior from two of them is to be believed, things certainly do not look well. Time has passed…maybe Seyi Shay borrowed some sugar and never returned it to Tiwa and they got mad at each other.
