Embattled Senate President Bukola Saraki may not have as many fans as he’d have liked, but he surely has one in Dino Melaye.
Dino Melaiye is a member of the 8th National Assembly, representing Kogi West and a self-styled anti-corruption activist
Melaye has constantly accompanied Saraki to the tribunal and even escorted the Senate President’s wife, Toyin to the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) when she was invited for interrogation.
He went on his Facebook page to declare his unflinching support for Saraki.
He said “My brother and friend Sen. Bukola Saraki, if you have 1 trillion supporters, I’m one. If you have one billion, I’m one. If you have one million, I’m one. If you have one thousand, I’m one. If you have ten, I’m one. If you have only one supporter, I’m one. And if you have no single supporter, it means I’m dead. No shaking. Four years too sure,”
