President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr. Dikko Radda as the Director-General of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN).
This is contained in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday by Mr Bolaji Adebiyi, Director of Press, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
The statement said the appointment was with immediate effect, adding that it was for a period of five years.
It said Radda, a former teacher, banker and chairman of a local government until his new appointment, was the Chief of Staff to Katsina State Governor.
According to the statement, Radda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Economics and Extension from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University.
It said the appointee holds two Master’s Degrees, Agricultural Extension and International Affairs and Diplomacy.
The statement said Radda also hold a Ph.D in Agricultural Extension and Rural Sociology from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. (NAN)
