Hollywood has gone all the way global and now Naija is finally getting a chance to play a role, literally. Well at least the city of Lagos.
Few movies that depict Nigeria are actually shot on location and the latest installment of the Captain America franchise is no exception, so don’t get upset yet. It’s the thought that something would even bring a whole Captain America to Nigeria. It’s not Superman or Batman, heck not Iron Man and Iya Basira would have loved to see Thor but hey its Captain America.
I wonder if he will stamp my pali, next time he’s in town.
Civil War features a scene where the hero, Captain America lands on a danfo bus, after having being thrown there by some villain, maybe the Okada mosquito or something.
Well it’s definitely going to be a treat for movie lovers who know Lagos, as they will certainly feel immersed in the movie.
Note, the scene was shot in Atlanta, Georgia.
Check out some of the cool photos and a video of the scene being shot on location in Atlanta:
