One thing can be said about Kim Kardashian; She’s really, really good at “breaking” the internet. Her nude selfie shared on Instagram in celebration of Womens day has received equal praise and ire.
It seems popular ‘So what’ singer P!nk has seemingly weighed in on the controversy. She put up a post on Twitter saying:
“Shout out to all of the women, across the world, using their brains, their strength, their work ethic, their talent, their ‘magic’ that they were born with, that only they possess,” the singer wrote in her open letter.
“It may not ever bring you as much ‘attention’ or bank notes as using your body, your sex, your tits and asses, but women like you don’t need that kind of ‘attention.’ In the quiet moments, you will feel something deeper than the fleeting excitement resulting from attention, you will feel something called pride and self-respect. You’ll never have to make silly excuses for yourself.”
P!nk though cannot be said to be so much of a saint after years of bad behavior and she was called out by Twitter users as being hypocritical. Amber Rose, Ex Girlfriend of Kims present husband Kanye West, known for her vocal stance on Sluts jumped to Kims defense stating:
“We were all born naked, society sexualizes our breasts and bodies. If a grown mother of 2 is comfortable with her body and wants to show it off thats none of your business or anyone else’s”
She also claimed P!nk was a hypocrite and was near naked and swinging from a rope in one of her music videos.
