Watford star striker, Odion Ighalo has been the subject of much speculation, with 15 goals in the current premier league season juicing up the offers.
While clubs like Atletico Madrid and Chelsea are believed to be on the look-out for the Nigerian striker, Arsenal are believed to be the most keen on him, and are preparing a £20 million summer move, reports say.
Watford manager, Quique Flores is also aware of the speculation surrounding the forward, and has given a hint that he’s having it difficult keeping the 26-year-old.
In an interview before Saturday’s league game against Bournemouth, Flores said the speculations are good for the team’s morale and will help to drive up his players’ value.
“Speculation about Ighalo is very normal. He is one of the best strikers in the league.
“It’s good — I love this speculation for all the players. When other teams want Watford players it means we are doing something right. It also improves the value of the players!
“I cannot talk about what will happen to Ighalo in the future but it will be positive.”
