The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says some candidates who initiated, but could not upload and complete the registration process for the 2016 UTME have been given some more time.
This is contained in a statement signed by the board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin and issued to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos.
It said candidates who initiated the process of registration but could not upload and complete it as at Feb. 5 could do so within 48 hours starting from 12 midnight of Tuesday, Feb. 23.
According to the statement, the website will be opened to such candidates till 12 midnight of Thursday Feb.25 when it will be be finally closed.
“The board wishes to state that the directive does not cover fresh registration but only those who had either done offline registration or visited our website but could not submit.
“The board wishes to state that all arrangements for the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) have been concluded and examination will commence as earlier slated.
“Candidates are also urged to print their examination slips for the schedules of their date, venue and time allotted to them and other necessary information,” the statement said. (NAN)
