A man in Kenya has hanged himself after his wife of two months escaped with his school certificates following a dispute.
Charles Khaemba and his wife Irene Nasike got married too months ago, but relatives said it has been from one domestic row to another ever since, The Star reported.
The quarrels eventually got to a head recently when the couple living in Mabanga village, Bungoma County, had a major quarrel after which the estranged wife escaped with her husband’s academic records.
Khaemba reportedly committed the act on Sunday using a rope in his living room.
The victim’s brother, James Wakoli, said different attempts to get his brother’s wife on phone failed as her phone could not be reached.
