Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose, has come out publicly to deny news that he owns any property in Dubai.
Sequel to reports by an online publication, Sahara Reporters, which stated the governor, former First Lady, Patience Jonathan and other PDP former governors and politicians had property valued in billions of Dirham in the UAE, the governor took to social media to debunk the claim of the property allocated to him by the report.
See what he tweeted:
I don't have any house in Dubai. Anyone with information of any property linked to me in Dubai should publish the details.

I'm ready to waive my immunity to be prosecuted if any house is linked to me in Dubai. I'm not a kind of person that will deny my assets.

If they trace any house to me in Dubai, the federal govt should make public all the details including pictures, location & title documents.
— Peter Ayodele Fayose (@GovAyoFayose) January 21, 2016
The government should also confiscate such property and I am ready to waive my immunity to be prosecuted.

It is painful that the people who seized power in Nigeria through falsehood and propaganda are still lying 8 months after assuming office

In a related development, Nigerian security officials are reportedly on high alert to arrest senior officials of the Jonathan administration should they attempt to make their way into the country clandestinely.
Many individuals are reportedly on a watch list with governments in partnership with Nigeria’s graft war waiting for a go order to swoop in on them and their assets.
A polling of social media Nigeria shows there is a high approval rating for President Buhari’s anti-corruption war with many of his supporters hoping he will also beam his searchlight on members of his own party who have also sullied their hands with the National Cake.
