As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, foremost maker of feature phones for emerging markets, TECNO Telecoms Limited is set to commission a street light project executed in the Computer Village, Ikeja area of Lagos State on Thursday.
Computer Village is one of the most popular electronics markets in West Africa.
The project, which was first conceived in 2014, was executed by Arthur Energy Technology Limited, a local energy services company after approval was obtained in November 2015.
The street lights are solar-powered.
The commissioning is expected to be graced by officials of the Lagos State Government, Ikeja Local Government Area, local communities nearby and local businesses.
According to the company, the Ikeja Street Light Project is it’s way of expressing its gratitude to its host for providing an enabling environment for its business to thrive.
